Josef Hamann opens his leather goods shop in Munich's Glockenbach district, producing durable leather clothing for Germany's first "motorists and automobilists."

1947

The company rebrands under the new name ROX. With custom-made camera and combination cases, ROX establishes itself as the go-to brand for high-quality camera bags.

1975

ROX camera bags are particularly valued for their unmatched quality and functionality, prompting the company to push the adoption of modern industrial manufacturing processes.
